Coupling Agent
As a rust inhibitor for metal surfaces, it has special effects. When used to treat the surfaces of metals such as gold, silver and copper, it can improve their corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and enhance their adhesion to polymer materials. It is widely used in filling polymer materials and can be applied to both thermosetting and thermoplastic polymer materials, such as epoxy, acrylonitrile, phenolic sulfonate, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polycarbonate, etc. It is particularly effective in the rubber industry, which can enhance its mechanical properties, improve wear resistance, and reduce permanent deformation. It is suitable for NR, EPDM, SBR, polysulfide rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, and polyurethane rubber, etc. The range of inorganic fillers it is applicable to is also very wide, and it can be used for silicon-containing substances such as glass fiber, silica, quartz powder, talc, mica, fly ash clay, and kaolin.

Key Applications
1.Surface Treatment Agent:
Enhances adhesion and corrosion resistance for metals (e.g., gold, silver, copper), glass, ceramics, and composites 38.
2.Polymer Additive:
Improves wettability and weather resistance in resins, rubber, coatings, and polishes 35.
3.Oilfield Chemical:
Functions as an enhancer, anti-wax agent, and modifier in petroleum extraction 35.
4.Laboratory & Industrial Uses:
Utilized in defoamers, textile softeners, and electronic heat-transfer fluids 28.
Packaging and storage
Standard Industrial Packaging
200 kg/drum: Steel or plastic drums (common for bulk industrial supply).
20–25 kg/drum: Plastic buckets or cartons (e.g., 4 × 5 kg plastic buckets per carton).
Custom Bulk Options: IBC totes (1,000 L) for large-scale orders.
Small-Volume & Laboratory Packaging
1 kg: Aluminum foil bags with fluorinated bottles.
5–100 g: Sealed bottles or vials (e.g., 25 g, 100 g for R&D use).
Storage & Handling Requirements
Storage: Keep in a cool (2–8°C recommended), dry, and ventilated area; strictly avoid moisture (hygroscopic and hydrolyzes upon water contact).
Sealing: Containers must be tightly sealed under inert gas (nitrogen/argon) to prevent hydrolysis and self-polymerization.
Shelf Life: Up to 2 years when stored properly.
Safety Labeling
Hazard Symbols: Xi
(Irritant).
Risk Phrases: H315 (Skin irritation), H318 (Serious eye damage), H335 (Respiratory irritation).
Precautionary Measures: Use gloves/eye protection; ensure adequate ventilation during handling.
