Physical and chemical properties

In terms of physicochemical properties, MY-AKT appears as white crystalline powder with a high purity of ≥99.0%. It has a melting point between 203-205°C, a boiling point reaching 334°C, and a flash point of 200°C. These characteristics ensure stable performance under high-temperature conditions, demonstrating excellent thermal stability. Additionally, while insoluble in water, it dissolves in various common chemical solvents, enhancing its application flexibility.

Application

  • Pharmaceutical intermediates: can be used to synthesize pharmaceutical intermediates and other polymer materials.

  • Silicone oil and silicone: as the raw material of phenyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone resin and phenyl silicone rubber.

  • Modified intermediate: used for polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, acrylic resin and so on, to give new products high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance and aging resistance.

  • Coordination chemistry: can be used as a ligand to form complexes with metal ions, which are used in catalysis and material synthesis.

  • Materials science: used to prepare polymer materials or liquid crystal materials.

  • These properties make octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane have important application value in many fields.


Packaging and Storage

- Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse.  

- Warehouse temperature should not exceed 37°C.  

- Keep separate from oxidizers and food chemicals; avoid mixed storage (see Section 10 for prohibited mixtures).  

- Keep containers tightly sealed.  

- Keep away from ignition sources and heat.  

- The warehouse must be equipped with lightning protection devices.  

- The ventilation system should have grounding devices to eliminate static electricity.  

- Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation equipment.  

- Avoid using equipment or tools that may generate sparks.  

- The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency response equipment and appropriate containment materials.
